A eucalyptus tree has more than one possible destination. Larger suitable timber may have commercial value. Thinnings can become shredded biomass. Woody material can become mulch or compost feedstock. Suitable dry material can become biochar. Other wood can provide heating fuel. Some material can remain within the woodland where its ecological function outweighs its fire risk.
